Ramathaim-zophim was the hill-country home of Elkanah and Hannah in Ephraim, where they returned after worshiping at Shiloh. Shiloh housed the tabernacle and was Israel’s central worship site, making Hannah’s prayer and vow there significant before Samuel’s birth.
