Grounded Explanations & Word Studies
New Features
- Explanations now cite real sources: Matthew Henry's commentary, Church Fathers (Chrysostom, Augustine, and others), and Reformed confessions (Westminster, Heidelberg), with a Sources list under every answer
- Word studies: click any word in the Berean Standard Bible text on a passage page to see the original Greek or Hebrew word, its grammar, its dictionary meaning, and where else it appears
- Search the Bible by meaning: describe what you are looking for and find matching verses, even without the right keywords
- Cross-references anchored to the exact phrase of a verse, so you see which words a connection is really about
- Berean Standard Bible (BSB) added as a selectable translation
Improvements
- WEB, KJV, and BSB are now served from our own database for speed and reliability
- Clearer cross-reference labels: counts now read 'found helpful' instead of 'votes'
