Ramathaim-zophim was the home region of Elkanah and Hannah in Ephraim’s hill country, while Shiloh housed Israel’s central sanctuary and the tabernacle. Hannah remained at home with Samuel until he was weaned, intending then to bring him to Shiloh to present him before the LORD permanently.
