The Valley of Elah, between Socoh and Azekah in Judah, was the battlefield where David defeated Goliath after the Philistines camped at Ephes-dammim. David, from Bethlehem, pursued the routed Philistines toward Gath and Ekron and later brought Goliath’s weapons to Jerusalem.
