2 Corinthians 1:1

Bible Text

Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God, and Timothy our brother, to the assembly of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints who are in the whole of Achaia:

Corinth was a leading city of Roman Achaia, the province whose churches Paul addresses; Macedonia lay to the north, where Paul later found encouragement after troubles in Asia, the Roman province in western Anatolia. Judea, centered on Jerusalem, mattered because Paul’s Gentile
