2 Corinthians 10:3-4

[3] For though we walk in the flesh, we don't wage war according to the flesh; [4] for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds,

Corinth was a major Greek port city in the Roman province of Achaia, where Paul had founded a church amid a wealthy, pluralistic culture. His contrast between worldly and spiritual warfare addresses conflicts in that congregation, stressing that God’s power, not human status or rhetoric, overcomes opposition to the gospel.
