Jerusalem was Judah’s capital, where Josiah’s temple repairs led to the discovery and reading of the Book of the Law. The Second Quarter was a newer or expanded district of Jerusalem, associated nearby with the prophetess Huldah, whom Josiah’s officials consulted about the book.
