Paul and Barnabas were returning from their first missionary journey through southern Galatia and Asia Minor, revisiting churches in Derbe, Lystra, Iconium, and Pisidian Antioch. Acts 14:24 records their westward passage through Pisidia into Pamphylia, where they preached at Perga before sailing from Attalia to Syrian Antioch.
