Haran was a city in northern Mesopotamia, where Abraham’s relatives lived and where Jacob would later flee from Esau. Although not named in Genesis 27:24 itself, it becomes significant as the destination connected with Isaac’s blessing and Jacob’s departure after obtaining it.
