Capernaum was Jesus’ Galilean ministry base by the Sea of Galilee, while Judea broadly denotes the southern Jewish region where reports of his works also spread. Nain was a small Galilean village south of Nazareth, where Jesus met the funeral procession and raised a widow’s son.
