What does the Bible say about ask in jesus name?

The Bible teaches that believers should pray in Jesus’ name, trusting his person, authority, and saving work rather than treating his name as a formula for getting whatever they desire. In John 14:13-14 and John 16:23-24, Jesus promises that prayers offered in his name will bring glory to the Father and fullness of joy to his disciples.
