What does the Bible say about being left out?

The Bible teaches that those who feel left out are seen, welcomed, and healed by God, who calls his people into belonging through Christ. Jesus says his followers may be excluded for his sake, yet they are blessed and have a secure reward with God (Luke 6:22). Even when human relationships fail, the Lord receives his children (Psalms 27:10) and heals the brokenhearted (Psalms 147:3). In Christ, the true light who came to make God known, believers are brought from alienation into God’s family (John 1:9-14). God’s grace also calls his people to holy fellowship, forgiving confessed sin and forming a distinct people who reflect his character (1 John 1:9; Leviticus 20:26).
