What does the Bible say about clean body?

Bible Topic · WEB

The Bible teaches that our bodies belong to God and should be kept in holiness, not as a means of earning salvation but as the grateful fruit of Christ’s cleansing grace. Believers are temples of the Holy Spirit, bought with a price, and therefore called to glorify God in their bodies (1 Corinthians 6:19; 1 Corinthians 3:16). God commands His people to flee sexual immorality and pursue purity in body and spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18; 2 Corinthians 7:1; 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4). Yet true cleansing begins with God’s mercy: He washes sinners, makes them clean through Christ’s word, and calls them to live accordingly (Psalms 51:7; John 15:3).
