What does the Bible say about confidence?

The Bible teaches that true confidence rests not in ourselves but in the Lord's faithful presence, saving love, and promised strength. Proverbs 3:26 calls the Lord the believer's confidence, while Isaiah 41:10 assures God's people that he is with them, strengthens them, and upholds them. Our sufficiency comes from God, not personal ability, as 2 Corinthians 3:5 teaches.
