The Bible condemns partiality and calls God’s people to honor every person as an image-bearer, showing neighbor-love without favoritism. God himself shows no partiality (Romans 2:11; Acts 10:34), and Christ’s saving grace unites believers across ethnic, social, and gender distinctions as one family in him (Galatians 3:27-29). James 2:2-4 rebukes giving special treatment to the wealthy while dishonoring the poor. Though people often judge outward appearance, the Lord looks on the heart (1 Samuel 16:7).
