What does the Bible say about entertainment?

The Bible teaches that entertainment should be received gratefully and enjoyed wisely under the lordship of Christ, never becoming an idol or leading us into sin. Philippians 4:8 and Psalm 101:2-3 call believers to set their minds on what is true, pure, lovely, and worthy, while Ephesians 5:11 warns against sharing in works of darkness. Colossians 3:17 teaches that all we do should be done in Christ's name and for God's glory.
