What does the Bible say about eye?

The Bible teaches that the eye reveals and directs the heart's spiritual condition: when our gaze is fixed on God in faith and obedience, our whole life is filled with light, but sinful desire darkens us. Matthew 6:22-23 warns that a healthy eye leads to light, while an evil eye brings darkness. Matthew 5:27-28 shows that lustful looking is already heart-level adultery before God. Proverbs 21:4 links proud eyes with sin, yet Psalm 119:105 directs us to God's Word as the lamp for our path.
