The Bible teaches that God the Father is the one true God, the loving Creator and sovereign Father of all who belong to him through Jesus Christ. Scripture says there is one God and Father of all, from whom are all things and for whom believers live (1 Corinthians 8:6; Ephesians 4:6). He is holy and worthy of ultimate reverence, so no human authority can replace him as Father (Matthew 23:9).
