What does the Bible say about lice?

The Bible presents lice as one of the plagues by which God displayed His sovereign judgment on Egypt and revealed His incomparable power. In Exodus 8:16-19, the dust became lice on people and animals at the Lord's command, and even Pharaoh's magicians confessed, "This is the finger of God."
