What does the Bible say about lords supper?

The Bible teaches that the Lord's Supper is Christ's ordained meal of remembrance, communion, proclamation, and spiritual nourishment for his church until he returns. At the Last Supper, Jesus gave bread and the cup as signs of his body given and his blood poured out for the forgiveness of sins, commanding his disciples to partake in remembrance of him (Matthew 26:26-29; Luke 22:19). Believers share in Christ and in one another through this covenant meal (1 Corinthians 10:16).
