What does the Bible say about magician?

Bible Topic · WEB

The Bible presents magic and occult arts as powerless before the living God and warns His people not to seek spiritual power apart from Him. Pharaoh’s magicians could imitate some signs through secret arts in Exodus 7:11 and 7:22 and Exodus 8:7, yet they soon confessed their limits, unable even to stand before God’s judgments in Exodus 9:11. In Daniel, Babylon’s magicians and wise men could not reveal or interpret the king’s mysteries, but God gave wisdom to Daniel, showing that true knowledge belongs to Him alone (Daniel 2:2, 2:10, 2:27). Believers should therefore reject occult practices and trust the Lord, who alone rules over creation and reveals what is hidden.
