What does the Bible say about only worshipping god?
Bible Topic · WEB
The Bible teaches that God alone is worthy of worship, for He is the one true Creator, Savior, and Lord, and He will not share His glory with idols or creatures. In Exodus 20:1-3 and Exodus 34:14, God commands His people to have no other gods and calls Himself jealous for wholehearted devotion. Jesus affirms this in Matthew 4:10 and Luke 4:8: we must worship and serve God alone. True worship is spiritual and sincere, through Christ, as John 4:23-24 teaches. Romans 12:1 shows that worship includes offering our whole lives to God in grateful obedience. Even angels refuse worship, directing it to God alone (Revelation 22:8-9).
