What does the Bible say about putting jesus first?

The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ must have first place in our faith, worship, desires, and daily obedience, for He is the eternal Son of God, Savior, and Lord. John 1:1 and John 1:3 proclaim His deity and His role in creation, while John 14:6 declares that He alone is the way to the Father. We therefore seek first God’s kingdom and righteousness, trusting that our Father provides what we need (Matthew 6:33; Philippians 4:19).
