What does the Bible say about seekers?
Bible Topic · WEB
The Bible teaches that those who truly seek the Lord will find him as they turn to him with their whole heart, trusting his mercy and submitting to his word. Deuteronomy 4:29 promises that Israel will find God when they seek him wholeheartedly, and 1 Chronicles 16:11 calls God’s people continually to seek his strength and presence. David charged Solomon in 1 Chronicles 28:9 to know and serve the Lord sincerely, warning that God searches every heart. Scripture also shows that seeking God involves covenant faithfulness, as in 2 Chronicles 15:12, and brings blessing under his gracious rule, as seen in Uzziah’s early life in 2 Chronicles 26:5.
