What does the Bible say about separation from god?
Bible Topic · WEB
The Bible teaches that sin separates humanity from God, bringing guilt, spiritual death, and the need for His saving grace. Isaiah 59:1-2 says that our iniquities have made a separation between us and God, while Romans 3:23 declares that all have sinned and fall short of His glory. Through Adam’s sin, death entered the world, and the wages of sin is death (Romans 5:12; 6:23). Yet God has not abandoned sinners: Christ bore our wandering and sin (Isaiah 53:6), and those born again through faith receive life. Apart from the Son, God’s wrath remains (John 3:3, 36), but nothing can separate believers from God’s love in Christ (Romans 8:38-39).
