What does the Bible say about troubles?

The Bible teaches that troubles are real in a fallen world, yet God is near to his people, sustains them, and will finally deliver them through Christ. Psalm 34:17-20 assures believers that the Lord hears the righteous when they cry and is close to the brokenhearted, though they may face many afflictions.
