What does the Bible say about why god created man?
Bible Topic · WEB
The Bible teaches that God created humanity for his own glory, to bear his image, enjoy fellowship with him, and serve as faithful stewards of his world. Genesis 1:26-28 says men and women were made in God’s image and commissioned to rule the earth under his authority. Isaiah 43:7 and 43:21 declare that God formed his people for his glory and praise. All things were created through and for Christ, according to Colossians 1:16 and Revelation 4:11. Though sin has marred our calling, God redeems his people in Christ, creating them anew for good works and to display his wisdom and grace, as Ephesians 2:10 and 3:9-10 teach.
