What does the Bible say about honor your wife?

The Bible calls husbands to honor their wives with sacrificial love, understanding, faithfulness, and respect as fellow heirs of God’s grace. In 1 Peter 3:7, husbands are commanded to live considerately with their wives and show them honor, recognizing their shared standing before God. Ephesians 5:25 and 5:28 present Christ’s self-giving love for the church as the pattern for a husband’s care for his wife, loving her as his own body.
