What does the Bible say about house of god?

The Bible teaches that God’s house is chiefly his holy dwelling among his redeemed people, calling them to reverent worship, faithful fellowship, and holy living. In the Old Testament, the temple was to be honored as the place set apart for God’s worship, and Haggai 1:2-7 rebukes neglect of it while Matthew 21:13 condemns its misuse.
