What does the Bible say about house?

The Bible teaches that a home is established by God’s wisdom, blessed by his provision, and meant to serve him in faith. Proverbs 24:3-4 says a house is built through wisdom and filled with precious treasures through knowledge, while Proverbs 14:1 calls the wise woman to build her household. Yet no earthly house is secure apart from the Lord, who blesses the work of his people and calls families to covenant faithfulness. Joshua 24:15 expresses this calling: “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Through faith in Christ, believers receive salvation for their households, as Acts 16:31 declares, and are promised an eternal dwelling in the Father’s house (John 14:2).
