The Bible teaches that God’s people should speak His Word faithfully, reverently, and in dependence on the Holy Spirit, so that their words give life, truth, and grace rather than harm. Hebrews 4:12 declares that God’s Word is living and powerful, penetrating the heart and exposing us before Him. Because all Scripture is breathed out by God and equips believers for every good work, 2 Timothy 3:16-17 calls the church to receive, teach, and apply it. 2 Peter 1:20-21 reminds us that Scripture comes from God through men carried along by the Spirit, not from human invention.
