What does the Bible say about the changing of seasons?

Bible Topic · WEB

The Bible teaches that God sovereignly appoints and governs every season of creation and human life, calling His people to trust His unchanging character amid change. Genesis 8:22 affirms the ongoing rhythms of seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, while Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 observes that every event has its fitting time under God’s providence. Daniel 2:21 declares that the Lord changes times and seasons, raising up and removing rulers according to His wise purpose. Though we do not know the times fixed by the Father’s authority, as Acts 1:7 says, our times are in His hand (Psalms 31:15). In every season, Christ remains the same (Hebrews 13:8), and God’s purposes will surely come to pass (Habakkuk 2:3).
