The Bible calls men to humble, Christlike responsibility in faith, family, church, and daily life, exercising strength through sacrificial love and godly service rather than selfish rule. Ephesians 5:23-25 presents the husband’s headship as patterned after Christ, who loved the church and gave himself for her. 1 Peter 3:7 commands husbands to live considerately with their wives and honor them as fellow heirs of grace.
