What does the Bible say about the truth?
Bible Topic · WEB
The Bible teaches that truth is ultimately found in God, revealed perfectly in Jesus Christ, and received through the Spirit who leads believers into faithful worship and freedom. Jesus declares that knowing the truth frees His disciples from sin's bondage (John 8:32), and He identifies Himself as the way, the truth, and the life, the only Savior who brings us to the Father (John 14:6). The Holy Spirit guides Christ's people into truth (John 16:13), not by replacing Scripture but by illuminating God's revealed word. Because God is Spirit, true worship is offered in spirit and truth (John 4:22-24). In Christ, the Word made flesh, we behold God's truth joined with grace (John 1:14).
