The Bible teaches that truth is grounded in God’s own character, fully revealed in Jesus Christ, and received through his Word by the Spirit. Jesus declares, “I am the way, the truth, and the life” in John 14:6, and promises that the truth sets sinners free in John 8:32. God’s Word is truth and sanctifies his people, as John 17:17 teaches, while the Holy Spirit guides believers into truth according to John 16:13.
