What does the Bible say about dogs in heaven?

Bible Topic · WEB

The Bible does not directly tell us whether individual dogs or other pets will be in heaven, so Christians should not claim certainty where Scripture is silent. Yet Scripture portrays God as the wise and compassionate Creator who preserves both people and animals, as Psalm 36:6 declares. Isaiah 11:6 uses peaceful animals to picture the coming kingdom's restoration under the Messiah, showing that God's final renewal reaches beyond human souls to the whole created order. Matthew 18:18 concerns the church's authority to exercise discipline and does not address animals in heaven. Reformed Christians may therefore hope in God's goodness while resting chiefly in His sure promise of resurrection and eternal life for all who belong to Christ.
