What does the Bible say about gods faithfulness?

Bible Topic · WEB

The Bible teaches that God is perfectly faithful, unchanging in character, and sure to keep every promise He has made to His people. Deuteronomy 7:9 calls Him the covenant-keeping God, while Numbers 23:19 assures us that He does not lie or fail to accomplish His word. Even when believers are weak or faithless, 2 Timothy 2:13 declares that He remains faithful because He cannot deny Himself. His faithfulness provides forgiveness through Christ when we confess our sins (1 John 1:9), strength in temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13), protection from evil (2 Thessalonians 3:3), and fresh mercy each morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). Therefore Christians may hold fast their hope, trusting God’s steadfast care.
