What does the Bible say about gods timing?
Bible Topic · WEB
The Bible teaches that God wisely and sovereignly appoints the right time for every purpose, calling his people to trust him patiently and faithfully. Ecclesiastes 3:1 and 3:11 affirm that God makes all things fitting in their time, even when we cannot see the whole of his plan. Habakkuk 2:3 and Psalm 27:14 encourage believers to wait with courage, because God’s promises will surely come to pass. Our times are in his hands (Psalm 31:15), and his ways direct those who trust him rather than their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). While waiting, Christians are to persevere in doing good (Galatians 6:9) and renew their strength in the Lord (Isaiah 40:31).
