What does the Bible say about helping each other?

The Bible teaches that believers are called to love one another through humble, practical, and faithful care, bearing each other’s burdens as members of Christ’s body. Galatians 6:2 says that sharing burdens fulfills the law of Christ, while Ecclesiastes 4:9-11 commends the strength and comfort found in companionship. Christians are to respect and encourage faithful leaders, build up the discouraged, help the weak, and patiently pursue peace, as 1 Thessalonians 5:12-16 teaches.
