What does the Bible say about renewing of the mind?

The Bible teaches that God renews believers’ minds by His grace, transforming them to know, love, and obey His will rather than conforming to the patterns of a fallen world. Romans 12:1-2 joins this renewal to offering our whole selves to God in grateful worship. Through Christ’s saving work, believers are no longer condemned and are increasingly changed into His likeness by the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:1-39; 2 Corinthians 3:18). This renewal is nurtured as we dwell on what is true, honorable, pure, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8), reject ungodliness, and live self-controlled, upright lives (Titus 2:12-15).
