The Bible teaches that women, like men, are created in God’s image, equal in dignity and called to live faithfully under his good design. In Genesis 1:27 and 2:21-23, woman is wonderfully formed as man’s corresponding helper, sharing his humanity and made for covenant companionship. Genesis 3 records the fall, in which sin brings deception, conflict, and sorrow, yet Genesis 3:15 promises the coming Savior who will crush the serpent. Scripture therefore treats women neither as inferior nor as independent of God’s order, but as accountable disciples of Christ. In marriage, family, church, and every lawful calling, women are to be honored, protected, and encouraged to trust and obey the Lord.
