What does the Bible say about your thoughts?
Bible Topic · WEB
The Bible teaches that our thoughts matter deeply and are to be brought under God’s truth, renewed by his grace, and directed toward faithful obedience. Psalm 119:105 portrays God’s Word as a lamp for our path, giving light where our minds are confused or tempted. Romans 12:1-2 calls believers not to be conformed to the world but transformed by the renewal of the mind, so that they may discern God’s will. Scripture is sufficient to teach, correct, and train us in righteousness, as 2 Timothy 3:16 declares. Hebrews 4:12 also reminds us that God’s living Word searches the heart, exposing even the thoughts and intentions within us.
