What does the Bible say about fellowship?

Bible Topic · WEB

The Bible teaches that fellowship is the gracious communion God creates with his people and the loving companionship believers share with one another under his covenant care. God walked with Enoch and Noah, showing that true fellowship begins with faith-filled fellowship with him (Genesis 5:22-24; 6:9). He promised to dwell among Israel and to give his presence and rest to his people (Exodus 29:45; 33:14-17; Leviticus 26:12). Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 praises mutual help and perseverance, while Amos 3:3 reminds us that walking together requires agreement in God’s truth. In Christ, the humble and contrite are welcomed into the presence of the holy God (Isaiah 57:15; Zechariah 2:10).
