The Bible teaches that corporate worship should be centered on God, shaped by his Word, spiritually sincere, and conducted in an orderly way that builds up the whole church. Jesus says true worshipers worship the Father in spirit and truth (John 4:24). Paul calls believers to sing, teach, pray, and exercise gifts so that all may be strengthened, with everything done decently and in order (1 Corinthians 14:26-40; Colossians 3:16; Ephesians 5:19). Scripture is also to be publicly read and heard with faith and obedience (Revelation 1:3).
